CMDportal uses industry sector classifications both at the Legal Entity level, as well as at the Group level. At the Legal Entity level the entity is classified by their actual industry activity. Accordingly, we classify a Fund that is part of a Bank as for example a “AM-EMMF” at the entity level but at the group level as “Bank.”

Based on available data, on the 31st of December 2017 European Money Market Funds had EUR1.3 trillion of assets under management.
