 g\n The 2022 World Bank Group/International Monetary Fund Annual Meetings 
 will take place from 14-16 October 2022 in Washington\, D.C.\, US.\n The A
 nnual Meetings will include the meetings of the Boards of Governors\, the 
 joint World Bank Group/IMF Development Committee and the IMF International
  Monetary and Financial Committee (IMFC). The Development Committee and th
 e IMFC advise the Boards of Governors on issues of global concern\, includ
 ing the world economic outlook\, poverty eradication\, economic developmen
 t\, and aid effectiveness.\n  About the Meetings\n The World Bank Group (W
 BG) plays a key role in the global effort to end extreme poverty and boost
  shared prosperity. One of the ways the organization works towards achievi
 ng these goals is by calling on citizens from around the globe to collabor
 ate on a range of issues related to poverty reduction\, international econ
 omic development and finance\, building human capital\, and strengthening 
 resilience. The primary opportunity to bolster awareness and participation
  on these topics and advance the agenda on key issues is through the Sprin
 g and Annual Meetings. The meetings also aim to open up the meetings to th
 e public through live-streamed events and online conversations on World Ba
 nk Live\, Twitter and other platforms.  The Annual Meetings traditionally 
 are held in Washington\, D.C. two years out of three and\, in order to ref
 lect the international character of the two institutions\, every third yea
 r in a different member country. In addition to the meetings of the Boards
  of Governors\, the Development Committee and the International Monetary a
 nd Financial Committee (IMFC) are officially convened. The Development Com
 mittee and the IMFC advise the Boards of Governors on issues of global con
 cern\, including the world economic outlook\, poverty eradication\, econom
