 rtunities and challenges of the tokenisation of finance: which role for Ce
 ntral Banks?" taking place in person in Paris on Tuesday\, 27 September 20
 22 and a virtual option will be available as well.\n This international co
 nference will involve an open and interactive discussion on the new and di
 sruptive ecosystems that are rapidly emerging in the financial sector at t
 he global level as a result of emerging innovative technologies. Those new
  ecosystems cover a wide array of activities\, ranging from the tokenisati
 on of assets to Decentralised Finance (DeFi)\, aiming to go beyond borders
  and sometimes circumventing intermediaries.\n The conference will first e
 xplore the implications of digitalisation for central banks in terms of fi
 nancial stability. It will then turn to the objectives and promises that D
 eFi holds for the market. Finally\, it will look into whether central bank
  digital currencies (CBDCs) could be used in those new ecosystems to enhan
 ce cross-border transactions while also preserving monetary and financial
