 deral Reserve Bank of Cleveland and the European Central Bank (ECB) will h
 ost the Inflation: Drivers and Dynamics 2024 Conference on October 24-25 i
 n person at the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland. This annual conference 
 brings together top researchers and policymakers from academia\, central b
 anks\, and other policy institutions to present research findings related 
 to inflation. Virtual attendance is available for individuals who are not 
 presenting or serving as discussants.\n Christina Romer (University of Cal
 ifornia\, Berkeley) and Stephanie Schmitt-Grohe (Columbia University) will
  present keynote addresses.\n Topics of interest include\, but are not lim
 ited to\, the following:\n Monetary and fiscal policy and inflation dynami
 cs\n Optimal inflation\n Inflation expectations\n Sources of inflation per
 sistence\n The impact of economic slack\, input costs (including intermedi
 ate inputs\, energy and commodity prices\, and international components of
  costs)\, network effects\, supply bottlenecks\, sectoral dislocations\, a
 nd climate transition on inflation dynamics\n Micro-level price dynamics a
 nd implications for aggregate inflation\n Inflation measurement\n Structur
 al determinants of inflation dynamics and trend inflation (including digit
 alization\, globalization\, and demographic change)\n Labor markets\, wage
 \, and inflation dynamics\n Impacts of the recent high inflation period\n 
 \n Authors interested in presenting their research related to inflation sh
 ould submit their papers through Conference Maker. The deadline for submis
 sions is Friday\, May 31\, 2024. Authors of accepted papers will be notifi
 ed by July 15\, 2024. Presenters and discussants are expected to present i
 n person. All papers presented at the conference will be posted on the web
