Enabling capital markets to finance the transition

How regulations are shaping investment strategies

As the industry convenes in Amsterdam for another year, you'll meet with the major banks, funds, capital markets experts, investors, analysts, standard setters and policymakers shaping sustainable finance markets and policy.

Top of the agenda are changes to SFDR, how CSRD will shape the data landscape and integration of transition plans into finance and investment decision-making.

Add your voice to the regulatory debates and understand how your peers are using the frameworks to deliver impact and returns.

Hear from the very people creating the regulation

Explore how your industry peers are developing their investment strategies under the current regulatory framework.

You'll gain and influence the latest thinking into how regulation will affect sustainable investing products and investor access.

Explore how funds are gaining data to ensure taxonomy alignment, classifying products under SFDR and utilising comparable disclosures.

Affecting the discussion around future policy reform

In the past two years in Amsterdam we have received MEPs, the heads of ESMA and TNFD and Board Members from the ISSB and DNB delivering our keynotes.

Sustainable finance in Europe

AFME is a strong supporter of the EU’s aim to be a leader in driving the development of a more sustainable financial system, including via the implementation of its Sustainable Finance Action Plan and the European Green Deal.

AFME has established the Sustainable Finance Steering Committee that meets regularly to discuss, debate and develop strategies for increasing the role of environmental, social and governance (ESG) considerations in wholesale finance.
