European agency and sub-sovereign issuer forum: Economic outlook, borrowing plans and role in green transition
Agency and sub-sovereign issuers play a crucial role in the financing, support and development of Europe. They are prestigious borrowers in the global capital markets with strong ratings, offering investors in the sovereign, supranational and agency space diversity and often rarity value.
Like all parts of the public sector, agencies and sub-sovereigns have had to step up to meet the challenges of Covid-19, rising energy prices and increased interest rates and inflation. They are also playing an increasingly prominent role in climate mitigation and adaption.
This event from OMFIF’s Sovereign Debt Institute brings together leading agency, sub-sovereign and regional issuers alongside high-profile investors from across the continent to discuss key issues. It also provides an in-depth look at the economic environment in which they operate with contributions from leading European policy-makers.
This on-the-record event is a must-attend for issuers from the European agency and sub-sovereign market as well as fixed-income investors and the banks that intermediate them. With an invitation-only, in-person audience, all attendees will have the opportunity to participate in the discussions. Participants will also benefit from the networking opportunity of a post-event cocktail reception hosted by the International Monetary Fund.
