Euro CP Increases by USD15.7bn whilst USCP increased by USD9.1bn



 

 

 

Euro Commercial Paper outstandings increased by USD 15.7 billion over the last week  

The amount of outstanding Euro commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) increased over the week ending January 25th, according to CMDportal data. 

Outstandings increased by USD 15.7 billion to USD 966 billion. (previous week increase USD 12.6 billion) 

Bank outstandings increased by USD 12.4 billion to USD 516 billion. (previous week increase USD 4 billion) 

Government outstandings increased by USD 948 million to USD 298.8 billion. (previous week increase USD 7.5 billion) 

Corporate outstandings increased by USD 2.5 billion to USD 101.7 billion. (previous week increase USD 1.4 billion) 

Asset-backed outstandings decreased by USD 27 million to USD 45.1 billion. (previous week decrease USD 280 million) 

Insurance outstandings were down USD 132 million to USD 4.2 billion. (previous week increase USD 23 million) 

  

US Commercial Paper outstandings increased by USD 9.1 billion over the last week  

The amount of outstanding US commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) increased over the week ending January 25th, according to Federal Reserve data. 

Outstandings increased by USD 9.1 billion to USD 965.2 billion.  

In the last week, Non-Financial outstandings increased USD 3.7 billion to USD 270.5 billion, whilst the Financial Sector increased by USD 2.4 billion to USD 438.3 billon.  

Domestic Non-Financials increased by USD 4.1 billion, whilst Foreign Non-Financials decreased by USD 500 million.  

Domestic Banks increased by USD 1.9 billion whilst Foreign Banks increased by USD 500 million.  

The US Asset Backed Commercial Paper Sector increased by USD 2.3 billion to USD 243.2 billion.
