We are analysing German MTN, Bond and Note trends year to date until the 22nd of November, 2023. According to the CMDportal Datasheet, the volume of MTN/Bond/Note issued by German borrowers fell by USD35bn or 5% YoY to USD667bn for 2023. This puts 2023 higher than the volume of issuance of 2019, but lower than the past 3 years separately. What is the breakdown by currency? What is happening in the domestic market?
