USD REPO PRESSURES EASE, BUT STILL SOME CROSS-WINDS TO MONITOR ON MONEY MARKETS

Elevation in repo rates seen at the end of November began to ease through Tuesday. Extra bills issuance has been a factor which has put upward pressure on the front end of the curve as this has drained liquidity from the system and placed upward pressure on bills rates in general. Despite a reversion towards normality SOFR remains elevated and will continue to contribute to balances falling in the Fed's reverse repo facility.
