WHAT WILL INFLATION DATA IN FRANCE, ITALY AND THE US BRING?

Fed Governor Christopher Waller called recent inflation data “disappointing” and said he wants to see “at least a couple months of better inflation data” before cutting rates (to be sure, the Fed will receive three more CPI reports, and three more PCE inflation prints, by the time of its 12 June meeting). He also said that “the risk of waiting a little longer to ease policy is small and significantly lower than acting too soon”.
