LATIN AMERICA SYNDICATED BOND ISSUANCE SURGES 42.7% YOY TO RECORD USD 88.9BN

Latin America syndicated bond issuance has surged to a record USD 88.9bn year-to-date, up 42.7% year-on-year, driven by an exceptional January funding window that printed nearly double the prior year. SSA now accounts for nearly 60% of total supply, duration is extending materially, and while May has moderated, the full-year pace points to a landmark year for the region.
