Investor Meetings

From the Collaborative Bond and Money Market Data Portal.

This term is typically used outside the context of a specific bond offering. When a bond is on offer, then market participants will typically use the term roadshow.

In both cases, they may be individual or a series of meetings with investors. They are not not intended to market a specific bond offering, although an issue of bonds cannot be excluded. The purpose of an investor meeting is simply to promote investors' familiarity with the issuer's businesses.

During those meetings issuers will  typically focus on outlining published financials, credit ratings and any available debt issuance programmes.. Notice of such meetings is generally publicly disseminated at the time participants are invited.

These meetings are not for communicating material non-public or inside information concerning the issuer.
