Euro CP up by USD 7.6bn, USCP drops USD 3.6bn



 

Euro Commercial Paper outstandings increased by USD 7.6 billion over the last week

The amount of outstanding Euro commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) increased over the week ending March 29th, according to CMDportal data.

Outstandings increased by USD 7.6 billion to USD 988.5 billion. (previous week increase USD 7.4 billion)

Bank outstandings increased by USD 7.1 billion to USD 536.5 billion. (previous week increase USD 1.2 billion)

Government outstandings increased by USD 2.3 billion to USD 301 billion. (previous week increase USD 6.7 billion)

Corporate outstandings decreased by USD 2 billion to USD 100.6 billion. (previous week decrease USD 1.6 billion)

Asset-backed outstandings increased by USD 365 million to USD 46 billion. (previous week increase USD 1 billion)

Insurance outstandings were down USD 18 million to USD 3.89 billion. (previous week increase USD 50 million)

 

US Commercial Paper outstandings decreased by USD 3.6 billion over the last week

The amount of outstanding US commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) decreased over the week ending March 29th, according to Federal Reserve data.

Outstandings decreased by USD 3.6 billion to USD 975.7 billion.

In the last week, Non-Financial outstandings decreased by USD 14.1 billion to USD 260.5 billion, whilst the Financial Sector increased by USD 4.7 billion to USD 450.9 billon.

Domestic Non-Financials decreased by USD 15 billion, whilst Foreign Non-Financials increased by USD 900 million.

Domestic Banks increased by USD 2.3 billion whilst Foreign Banks increased by USD 2.6 billion.

The US Asset Backed Commercial Paper Sector increased by USD 3.7 billion to USD 243 billion.
