ECP and US Commercial Paper Markets drop by USD23.3bn

Euro Commercial Paper outstandings decreased by USD 6.2bn over the last week  

The amount of outstanding Euro commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) decreased over the week ending July 27th, according to CMDportal data.

Outstandings decreased by USD6.2 billion to USD909.5 billion. (previous week increase USD958.4 million)

Bank outstandings increased by USD1 billion to USD501.9 billion. (previous week decreased USD 394.9 million)

Government outstandings decreased by USD6.1 billion to USD257 billion. (previous week increase USD 3.1 billion)

Corporate outstandings decreased USD442.8 million to USD103.3 billion. (previous week decrease USD 1 billion)

Asset-backed outstandings decreased by USD 805.3 million to USD41.6 billion. (previous week decrease USD 1.5 billion)

Insurance outstandings were up USD82.6 million to USD5.6 billion. (previous week increase USD69.3 million)

  

US Commercial Paper outstandings decreased by USD 17.1 billion over the last week  

The amount of outstanding US commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) decreased over the week ending July 27th, according to Federal Reserve data.

Outstandings decreased by USD 17.1 billion to USD1,032.7 billion.

In the last week, Non-Financial outstandings decreased by USD 11 billion to USD265.8 billion, whilst the Financial Sector decreased by USD 5.5 billion to USD 507.1 billon.

Domestic Non-Financials decreased by USD5.9 billion, whilst Foreign Non-Financials decreased by USD 5.1bn.

Domestic Banks increased by USD 0.3 billion whilst Foreign Banks decreased by USD5.8 billion.  

The US Asset Backed Commercial Paper Sector decreased by USD 0.4 billion to USD253.8 billion.
