Euro Commercial Paper Outstandings Stable as US continues descent

Euro Commercial Paper outstandings decreased by USD 252 million over the last week  

The amount of outstanding Euro commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) decreased over the week ending December 7th, according to CMDportal data.

Outstandings decreased by USD 252 million to USD 941.9 billion. (previous week decrease USD 2.2 billion)

Bank outstandings decreased by USD 2.6 billion to USD 494.6 billion. (previous week decrease USD 4.5 billion)

Government outstandings increased by USD 1.2 billion to USD 300.9 billion. (previous week increase USD 2.4 million)

Corporate outstandings increased by USD 1.5 billion to USD 99 billion. (previous week decrease USD 1.3 billion)

Asset-backed outstandings decreased by USD 304 million to USD 43.1 billion. (previous week increase USD 1.1 billion)

Insurance outstandings were down USD 56 million to USD 4.23 billion. (previous week decrease USD 34 million)

  

US Commercial Paper outstandings increased by USD 3.3 billion over the last week  

The amount of outstanding US commercial paper (CP) and certificates of deposit (CD) decreased over the week ending December 7th, according to Federal Reserve data.

Outstandings increased by USD 3.3 billion to USD 939.7 billion.

In the last week, Non-Financial outstandings increased USD 4.4 billion to USD 275 billion, whilst the Financial Sector increased by USD 2.7 billion to USD 413.3 billon.

Domestic Non-Financials increased by USD 6.4 billion, whilst Foreign Non-Financials decreased by USD 2.1 billion.

Domestic Banks increased by USD 4.2 billion whilst Foreign Banks decreased by USD 1.7 billion.  

The US Asset Backed Commercial Paper Sector decreased by USD 2.5 billion to USD 244.8 billion.
