Retained CB Issuance skyrockets in 2020

2020 saw retained covered bond issuance hit historic highs. The increase in activity came from FIGs, who use the retained covered bonds as collaterals at central banks refinancing operations pushed activity in the market. Issuance of EUR-denominated retained covered bond also reached historic records in 2020.
