Please note that the Capital Markets Seminar referred to in your mail below is jointly hosted by the European Commission, The European Central Bank and the European Stability Mechanism.
In early June, the 5th edition of the capital markets seminar organised jointly by the European Commission, European Investment Bank and the European Stability Mechanism will take place. This year, the event will look into how the EU institutions mobilise markets to support growth and economic integration, in line with sustainable and digital transformation priorities, while also preserving financial stability.
During the seminar, each issuer will present their funding programmes and engage with investors on current market topics.
Among other topics, the seminar will take stock of the Commission’s efforts to strengthen its issuance infrastructure and take stock of the implementation of our unified funding approach about six months since its launch. In this context, the agenda includes an update on the setting up of the EU Issuance Service and a high-level discussion on the Commission’s transition from an SSA to an EGB issuer. The seminar will also give investors a chance to meet Ms. Stéphanie Riso, the new European Commission Director-General for Budget who is responsible for all EU borrowing activities.
One-to-one meetings with members of the Commission funding team will be possible for investors who attend the seminar in-person.
