The AM – INTMMF, or International Money Market Fund is a fund that is a member of the International Money Market Fund Association and invests in short-term debt securities such as commercial paper and Repo and other instruments.

 

The Industry Sector is a classification that describes the activity of an entity within the economy. The classification is based on where the relevant entity derives the majority of its revenue.

 

In the Collaborative Bond and Money Market Data Model the International Money Market Fund Sector appears within the Industry Sector Type: Fund.

 

CMDportal uses industry sector classifications both at the Legal Entity level, as well as at the Group level. At the Legal Entity level the entity is classified by their actual industry activity. Accordingly, we classify a Fund that is part of a Bank as for example a “AM- INTMMF – All” at the entity level but at the group level as “Bank.”
